How It Started
TheMuseMeter began as a passion project—a poetry magazine and art gallery devoted to amplifying the voices of minority artists and creators. It was a platform to celebrate underrepresented perspectives and foster appreciation for diverse artistry. However, our area was too broad and the platform began to struggle with an overflow of submissions and a loss of an overall voice for the platform. Through a transformative partnership and mentorship from Hydrophos and its visionary CEO, Jason Plant, TheMuseMeter has evolved.
Today, our mission has pivoted to art education and cultural connection. Providing resources and insights that inspire and empower individuals to explore and engage with the art world. Our gallery and initiatives draw inspiration from YouTube content creator Polyblank, whose work in art education has profoundly influenced our vision. At TheMuseMeter, we remain committed to bridging creativity and education, making the art world accessible to all.
Long-Term Goal
At TheMuseMeter, our journey continues to have ambitious aspirations. While our current focus is on art education, we envision a future where creativity takes on new dimensions. Our ultimate goal is to pivot into the fashion market, crafting historically themed fashion pieces and shows that can bridge the past and the present. Our ambition is inspired by the Rasta Chic Caribbean Fashion Week show; now our mission is to make Caribbean clothes the norm. We aim to merge art, history, and modern design into a unique fashion experience that celebrates cultural narratives and timeless elegance.
